Matthew has been involved in National Autograss racing for the past 12 years both competing, and building and preparing cars. Attending Staffordshire University in 2008, Matthew completed their Foundation Degree in Motorsport Technology with Distinction. He then progressed on to gain First Class Honours in Automotive Technology.
During his time at Staffordshire University Matthew completed a placement at Slide Sports Race Engineering, running a number of cars in the Volkswagen Cup as well as working on other projects. Having been away from motorsport for the past 12months Matthew is currently in the process of building another autograss car, a class 5 mini with a 1420 twin cam engine.
Having known Ash and TGR Motorsport since 2009 where he helped to run the teams MGF TF in the MG Trophy, Matthew is looking forward to the prospect of working with the team again in 2012.
